ABOUT ME
Creation is a powerful and wonderful ability to grow what we see, what we want or what we express from our imaginations and originalities. My dad used to create a little crafted garden in our front yard when I was little, there were quite several of patterns as I could recall while specifically one was the most impressive. I pointed to the red roses planting inside the heart-shaped pattern piled up by the stones and asked dad about the meaning, he then said that it was for mom as a gift. I as a child was too young to receive the message but it did grow a seed and inspired me.
Last year, I was invited by Design Council of Hong Kong as one of the local design talent to participate the 「DesignXcel」 collaboration programme and joint-school exhibition out from 4,000 design graduates. Given the opportunity to collaborate between design graduates and leading entrepreneurs, I could present my graduation project of homelessness problem solving by landscape approach and make my statement of the bold ideas towards my target client and users. Through the meeting with the project managers of the Non-profit & Government Organization - Hong Kong Council of Social Service, it was a great intellectual exchange of ideas to an enhancement of community design while they happened to select my proposed project site currently in construction serving with the same purpose.
Lately, I was also approached for an interview for shooting ViuTV show ‘’Big World in Tiny Eyes’’, it was an great opportunity serving as educational purpose to introduce the essence of Landscape Architecture and Urban Forestry which give me the sense of direction and meaning, also to interpret how a construction related to landscape design could be motivated by a consideration of place, local culture, environment and the social dynamism of public interaction.
I wish to contribute to the environment with my creative potential and my vision:
The Best Time to Plant Tree is Now.
